Porch

I’ve lived in my condo for 10 years. 8 of it was with a roommate, who was the former owner. Most of the time we could have cared less about the back porch. And even still, I’ve never had a real reason to sit back there. And truth be told, a few years ago, we had someone climb on and take a plastic chair. Its a long story about the house next door having a fire, and Chelsea being.. well Chelsea. I really don’t anticipate a problem, but it’s all metal and lately anything metal grows feet sooooooo yeah, to use the space always required setup/take down.

Well now with C19 and being home so much, and frankly, it looks like I’ll be staying close to home most of the summer, I decided to finally put some effort into the back porch. I also installed U hooks to chain everything down. I know, I know.. says alot. But hey, 2 bucks at home depot + hour of my time is worth it. And now the area can be ready for when I want to. (I’ve already had coffee out there a few times in the morning)

Anyways, I’ve had the frames and some cushions that were left over from a previous tenant (upstairs), I just needed new cushions. New ones at Homo Depot are so expensive! Some cost as much as a cheap indoor couch, its unreal. Lucky, I have an Ocean State Job Lot near me, and they have some amazing deals on outdoor stuff. I spent around 200 bucks for all of that. (Ok I went a lil overboard… but still, I think one love seat cushion set was 299 at homo depot… so yeah I just got a bargin.

But here’s the outcome.. I just need to add some lights, plants, and table stuff (candles, mats, etc) and I’m good to go.

Yes I know stuff does not match. But hey, it’s job lots.. and i paid a fraction of what I would have elsewhere, so I’ll take it. I always value function over looks.
